You send us the date, the place and what matters to you. We answer within 24 hours and tell you honestly whether the date is free.

Ten to fifteen minutes by phone or video. We get to know you and your day, and see whether it fits, as people and in style.

You get a quote that fits your day. After that we go through the timing, the locations and the light together.

Wedding day
We are there before it starts and stay until the last dance. Calm, in the background, without counting hours.

Selecting & editing
We go through everything, make the selection and edit every image and every scene ourselves. Nothing is handed to strangers.

08 About us
It started with a borrowed camera
Mexico, in the early 2000s. My father took me along to a wedding. He was filming, and I was allowed to hold a camera for the first time. I was thirteen, maybe fourteen, and I knew straight away that this was it.
Not the technical side. It was what happens when you watch people in their most honest moments. The hug that lasts a little longer. The look that only two people understand.
Today Rebecca and I do this together. Over 17 years as a couple, 14 years married, two small children. We know what love feels like on an ordinary day, not only in the big moment. And we know what it is like to have a stranger standing next to you on a day like that. So we are there, but quietly.

What couples ask us
most often
Do you always work together?
On Photo & Film as a Team, yes, then both of us are there. On Photo & Film · One Person, one of us covers photography and film at the same time. And photography or videography on their own are of course possible too.
Do you travel outside Austria?
Yes. We work regularly in Austria and Switzerland, and we have travelled considerably further for weddings, including Mexico, Spain and Venezuela. Travel and accommodation are set out openly in the quote, so there are no surprises later.
Do we have to pose for photographs?
No. Most of the day is reportage and we stay in the background. For the couple shoot we give you a little direction, so you know what to do with your hands. That takes twenty to thirty minutes, and nothing is staged again afterwards.
How early should we get in touch?
Most couples get in touch twelve to eighteen months ahead. We deliberately take on a limited number of weddings each year, so that every couple gets our full attention. Shorter notice is still possible, just ask.
Can we book photography or film on its own?
Yes, both are available separately. The difference shows in the end: photographs hold how it looked, film holds how it sounded. If you are unsure, we will talk it through on the first call and work out what makes more sense for your day.
What happens on the first call?
Ten to fifteen minutes by phone or video. We get to know you and your day, and see whether it fits, as people and in style. After that you get a quote and take your time.
